About Us

Founded by architect and designer Inga Klingauf, SurroundYou Design is a Bay Area–based interior design studio specializing in modern, timeless, and highly livable spaces. With an architecture degree from the University of Braunschweig, Inga brings a distinctly European design sensibility to every project—balancing clean lines, natural materials, and thoughtful details to create homes that feel as good as they look.
Since 2013, SurroundYou has been transforming Bay Area homes through projects ranging from kitchen and bathroom remodels to full-home renovations and Eichler updates. Each design is guided by the belief that great spaces are both functional and beautiful—where simplicity and comfort coexist harmoniously.
